When you first arrive, use the MAIN GATEHOUSE entrance @ 1 Currituck Clubhouse Drive. Your GPS to the party house address above may try taking you into the neighborhood via the South Gate, which is unmanned and requires a code. We will post that gate code here ASAP.
When arriving, tell the gatehouse attendant that you're headed to the Black Stallion with the Dobbs.

You can take a shuttle ($240 one way), rent a car, or share a rental car with others arriving at a similar time. It will take 2-2.5 hours to get from Norfolk Airport (ORF) to the house. Please text Kate if you would like help coordinating airport transportation with others who may be arriving at the same time.
We've also learned that Uber is a great option. A one-way Uber XL from Norfolk to Corolla was $80. We're not sure about the return trip, but hey, we'll deal with that later.
We can check into the XO-XX-OBX house at 4pm on Sunday, Aug. 4. If you arrive earlier, please text Kate or Gimmike and they will let you know where the pre-party is.

We will bring many floaties and lawn games for use by everyone in the pool area. Great Julie's zebra floatie from Jamaica didn't survive, but hopefully we can find another one that will bring her half as much joy.
There is also a game room, a theater room, and other fun stuff on the property.
We will have the kitchens stocked with breakfast food for everyone. There will be eggs, breakfast meats, cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juices, and various other items. You can help yourself to all of the food in the kitchen and make-your-own breakfast when it's convenient for you. There are also several breakfast restaurants nearby if you want to go out.

We have 2 kegerators onsite - one will have an IPA and the other a lager. We will restock them when they run out.
There are 4 bars at the house including a poolside tiki bar. We will have the bars stocked with wine, hard liquor, mixers, and the latest trends in hard seltzers. Yes, Great Jim, ample ingredients for your signature rum punch will be readily available. Yes, Opa Tom, if there is Sacramento tomato juice for Bloody Marys within a 100-mile radius we will make sure it is in our fridge. And yes, Uncle Renner, we will have only the finest tequilas available for taste testing.

We are planning to rent a golf cart for the house to share. Keep in mind there is also a trolley that will take you to the beach and the Currituck Club. Before you book your own golf cart, please check with Kate to make sure there won't be too many.
